What's wrong with society?

The beginning of this blog...it's dedicated to the concepts shown in the movie idiocracy.

Lack of common sense.

Lack of a sense of humor.

Trolling anonymity.

Histrionic behavior.

The lady who got in a huff because she couldn't pet the service dogs. 

People who think they deserve anything simply by existing. It's called work folks.

People made famous while providing no value to the rest of society.

Being mean to others.

Escalating situations instead of de-escalating (law enforcement needs training as do the people they are attempting to arrest).

It's not a color thing (black thing vs white thing). It's not a gender thing. Stop calling out these attributes. It's a people thing period.

It's not gun violence. Guns aren't violent. It's people using a weapon (e.g. gun, sword, bomb, automobile) thing.

Don't ban bumpstocks. Having been in the gun industry...this will not solve it. Write legislation that says in effect "a firearm cannot be modified to fire at a slower or faster rate than when it was built". And rate of fire on each firearm (rounds per minute) should be established. Of course, this is only as valid as the person...a criminal will ignore any legislation.

Control who comes across our United States borders I would like. Building a wall is not the solution. It's a costly feel good solution that does not apply. As shown by the resolve of people on the southern boarders of the US, including the beaches (back when floatillas from Cuba came across), it's not practicle. Find a way to embrace it and make lemonade.

Tesla. Saw articles where people were parking their vehicles, usually trucks, in the way of charging stations for people to charge/refuel their electric vehicle. Get over it boys. Electric cars are here to stay as well as autonomous vehicles. Feel free to waste your energy fighting it or find a way to embrace it and make more lemonade. 

Lighten up everyone. Life is too short to be a jerk, not smile, and try to hurt others because you don't agree with them.
